ROLLING DOWN THE STAIRCASE
Have you ever fell and had no idea what happened to you? I had. This is a story my mom retold to me. With the help of my mom, I was able to clearly memorize the experience. If you want to know the story, let's read!
In my floral pink pajamas was I. It felt totally comfortable on me. The creamy milk in my baby bottle tasted super delicious. I crazily stepped over to the top of the staircase. Unexpectedly, my parents' door flew right open. My mom was in her white shiny silk robe and bundling her brown curly hair into a messy bun. I could smell the lovely scent of my mom's lotion dancing delicately in my sensitive nose even though it seemed like I was 100 km away from her. My mom stretched her hands wide open and blossomed like an excited flower.
" Baby, do you want to come down here with us?, requested my mom politely.
I had no idea what she was saying because I was only 4 years old. My mind could guess that as she was stretching her arms she wanted me to go downstairs with her. I nodded my head with a puzzled face.
I threw my baby bottle onto the ground and it made a sound. Splash! Onto the floor spread all of the milk in my baby bottle. I didn't really pay attention when my nanny cleaned it up. My mind was as white as a paper. Because of my negligence , I made a big mistake...
As I tried to walk down the staircase, I flipped my body like a giant cooked pancake and landed on my full round belly. I didn't know what to do because I was rolling and rolling like a beachball. My face was red as a chili and my eyes couldn't see anything. Images appeared and disappeared as fast as a bullet. Dad was concentrating on the news and the newspapers therefore, he didn't notice anything. I could feel the coldness of the mysterious steps. Across my body the pain slowly spread.
Unfortunately, I cried like there was a big rainstorm with a " wah wah " scream. Tears filled my face and a moment later, there was a small puddle of water. My back was about to break and my shoulders ached. Mom picked me up like I was just a baby and rubbed some green oil onto all of my bruises. I actually didn't feel like I was a baby at all. I was totally confused why she did that since the oil smelled yucky. What can that stinky oil do to the pain? Dad heard my scream so he dashed over like a shooting star and kissed my forehead gently.
I was placed on the bed and covered by a miniature cartoon blanket. The white mattress underneath was soft and comfortable. The blanket was as warm as my mom's hug.
As I snuggled under my pillows that night, I was super comfortable even though I just rolled down the staircase. My dreams started to appear and I dreamed I was a mermaid, an astronaut, a teacher, a scientist... Anyway, I had a good night sleep under the shining moon.
