"We take part in making our school, community and world a better place."
This definition seems pretty descriptive to me. This definition tells me about acts of citizenship. It means we participate and contributes to make our community a better place. When we make our community a better place, it might feel really good because we did something we should be proud of. Others' perspectives about us might change because of our acts. We thought very thoroughly and understood how our actions has changed the world. Isn't that amazing? There are still lots of other things I can learn from this word. It's always best to learn something new so start to do some research together.
WOW! I found this source and it was pretty helpful I am't sure is it copyrighted or not, so I can't copy and paste it here. I may link it and you can take a look. Here is the link:
After reading the document, I think I can make a brief summary about what it says:
Citizenship means we contributes our best effort to help create a better place in this community such as places like our schools, homes... A good citizen follow the rules and respects authorities. Places that is democratic treasure and respect freedom and independence. To be a responsible citizen, it is our job to develop a better community.
Ways to Show Good Citizenship:
1. Think and care about your community and nation.
2. Know that with every right there comes responsibility.
3. Follow rules and laws, respect authority.
4. Show a positive attitude and behavior toward others.
5. Accountable for our actions
6. Volunteer and contribute to your community
7. Be a good neighbor
8. Show sympathy for the need of others.
I think I am ready to show this trait. Come back tomorrow to check out my progress. Thanks for reading my Learner Profile.
