Hi everyone! Today, I am going to reflect on the goal I made for myself. I am so excited to share what I did with my goal. First of all, I need to review the goals:
1. People communicates through their body language too so the main goal I have for myself is to find ways everyone in my school interacts with each other.
2. My friends and I are always sitting on the couch chatting and this time I would like to play a communicating game with them.
3. I will try to look for new ways to communicate online or in books and make a list or a small report about some ways to communicate.
4. Share all my progress with you!
For my first goal, I did accomplish it and it was a pretty big accomplishment. This might sound funny to you but it did happen. My friend, Melanie brought in some sweet tasty bread and she kept it on the hook of her table to share with others. I was sitting right next to her so I communicated that I would like a small piece by reaching my hand out and tapping on Melanie's arm. Then I pointed at the piece of bread and she gave me some. It sounds funny because we aren't suppose to eat during class time and so I couldn't say anything or else miss Hannah's going to find out. ( Miss Hannah, sorry for eating in the classroom. ) Another interesting way of communicating is raising our hands to participate. I noticed this since I was really paying attention to my friends and miss Hannah. To say an idea or ask a question, we must raise our hands to give miss Hannah a signal that we need to tell the class something. Do you think that's a way of communicating? The last thing I would like to share with you is my experience with a 4th grader. While I was taking my stuff in the lockers' hallway, a fourth grader bumped into the lockers and got very hurt. She interacted that she was feeling hurt with me towards her rounded eyes, and the "ouchy" sounds she made. I immediately sat down and helped her get up. I think I was pretty caring.

I was very successful with my second goal. Due to the fact that we had nothing to do, I made up a game for my friends to communicate. I wasn't very sure for the name of the game but I named it " Letters and Words ". My friend or I would say a word and the last letter of that word would be the new word. We will need to think of a word that starts with that letter but it must not be repetitive. There were times when we had difficulties thinking of words with a specific letter such as y and x. To show that we are having difficulties, my friends and I tapped our fingers on the sides of our heads, stretching our mouths, looking into the ceiling... It was a fun game for our group to play and interact.
My last goal was to find different interesting ways to communicate and make a report about it. At last, I realized that it was a very challenging goal so I only made myself write down 10 ways:( Here is a list of ways to communicate:
1. cry and facial language - express a sad feeling
2. smile - feeling delighted and happy or suspicious
3. chat through social network/media
4. calls and messages - efficient and convenient
5. waving goodbye - to " say " goodbye to someone in a respectful way or signaling that you are here
6. create and hang posters around - notice that something's coming up
7. presentations and speeches
8. meetings
9. show respect by listening to others
10. sighing - tired or sleepy
and much much more...
As you know, I shared my accomplishments with you and I am pretty done:)
P.S PARTNERSHIP
My partner was Daisy and it was a very good experience. Even though we are sitting right in front of each other, we didn't communicate, share, or remind each other often. I didn't know how to help Daisy since she didn't tell me so it was disappointing that I didn't have the chance to remind her. We had some class time to discuss about our goals but we didn't talk much about it. I will try my best next time to understand and support my partner even more. Thanks to Daisy for helping my throughout the week:)
