How did you feel about the technology involved? Do you want to use screencasts again in the future?
At first, I was very excited and amazed about screen casting. I have watched a lot of other screen-casts online and I couldn't believe that the technology nowadays are so wonderful. Screen - casts allow you to stop when you need to, and it won't record what you did when you stopped. You can record your theme and voice which seems very cool. It's cooler than taking your Ipad and videotaping everything on your computer screens. In order to make the best visuals to explain our Mine Craft experience, we chose screen-casting instead of typing everything. It helps the audience to see our actual community which can also help them to give us better feedback. I bet I will use screen-casts later on because the advanced technology of the screen-casts helped me a lot with my video. I will probably make a lot of screen-casts in 6th grade since it's a grade level full of technology and work.
What do you think about your video? What part are you most proud of? Which part do you wish to improve?
After watching my screen-cast, I think that I did pretty well and I was descriptive enough to tell the audience about my experiences. There are some parts when I was lost and my script doesn't match the theme which means I need to work on planning more carefully before casting. For some reason, my voice was once very loud then once very soft as a mouse. It's probably very hard for the audience to hear me since it's too little and my voice wasn't clear enough. I will try to speak slower and clearer next time. The information in my screen-cast is probably enough for the audience. I told them all about my community and answered all of the questions with slightly complete answers. I hope that the audience could understand what I was trying to present. Some parts of my video got mixed up with the noise outside which can affect the sound quality but I think it’s okay anyway. All in all, I will try to prepare and practice twice before I make my screen-cast so I can make a perfect screen-cast. If you have any feedback or advice, please tell me in the comment below. I look forward to seeing your comment:)
Is there anything you want to say about your experience in this community that you did not get to say in your video?
I was trying to show my audience the place I worked but I ran out of time. I feel like trying to think outside of the box and tell more information. I will definitely work on that later. Otherwise, there's nothing more I want to add to my reflection. Thanks for reading my reflection and you are going to get to watch my screen-cast. Here it is:)
