6. Overall Experience
I feel that the Design Thinking Process is very helpful because without this process, we won't know what to do. We can't just jump in and start building useless stuff. It takes time and so we need to go through each step carefully in order to have a successful design. After being an expert on a specific step, this process will lead us to the next one. I need more work on the imagine and plan step because I think that stuff looks right when we are planning roughly but when we start to build stuff, it doesn't look right at all.
I don't really want to grade myself so I am just going to say that I can explain what force, motion, potential energy, kinetic energy, friction, gravity, speed and acceleration. I feel the most comfortable with speed and acceleration because that's what my group did a lot of research on and make a video actually demonstrating speed and acceleration.
Yes, I really want to continue designing because designing helps us express our wonderful ideas onto our design and make them real. This is our first time going through this process so I think that we need some practice. Were I to have another chance in class to design, I suggest that we should design a light bulb since we are focusing on engineering.
