In Music class, we are starting to learn how to create listening maps. There are some parts that are challenging and my class and I are always trying our best to overcome that challenge. We have created 1 listening map for the song " Also Sprach Zarathustra " composed by Richard Strauss. We are continuing with a story map for " Marche Du Toreador ". We aren't completely done with our story map and we are on our way!
To support us, miss Kristina created an example for us to look at so we can have an idea of what miss Kristina expects from us. I believe that the main theme in miss Kristina's map was bullfighting.

She suggested that theme to most of us since some of us have trouble thinking of themes. I personally chose a different theme because I would like a unique story map. Actually, most of us chose to create a different theme because we feel like it's a wonderful way to express ourselves. However, some of my classmates decided that they would choose the bullfighting theme.
We have been working on our rough drafts and now we are done with it. The next step is to create our final draft. To present this final draft, we have a choice between a online presentation from Prezi, the power point miss Kristina used or a A3 poster. I had a internal conflict since I can't decide which one would fit mines best so I created a T-chart to organize all the Pros and Cons:

Prezi - it's online so we can save it " forever - if we lost our account, it would go away - it's online so we can watch it anywhere that is connected to the internet - public ( if we choose public mode ) - alike with the posters, we can still upload photos of our drawings to fit it in | Poster - we can use different decorations to enhance our map - there might be a chance that our poster might get torn or lost - we can also share our work by taking a picture of it and uploading it onto social media - we have our project in our hands so we can show it to anyone without being connected to the internet |
After taking a look at all the pros and cons, can you help me which one I should choose? I hope you give me some feedback in my comment box below. Anyway, let's continue!
We will turn in our projects and be finish! I am always wondering about bullfighting and so I found a very artistic painting online and it gives me curiosity about the end result.
