Yesterday, Ms. Sara, our counselor taught us how to care about our self. We took an assessment so Ms. Sara knows how to help us. In the self- care assessment, we need to decide. She gave us a list of things we can do to care about ourselves. Next to each example was a box where we can write the numbers we think we think we accomplish.
3= Always
2= Sometimes
1= Never
After finishing each list, we can add all of the points we gave our selves together. If we have a sum that is in between 12-15, we are okay. If we have a sum between 9-11, we need to focus on caring about our self more. If we have a sum below 9, uh oh!
We actually get to do some meditation. After finishing the assessments, we came over to Ms. Sara's room to do some meditation. All the instructions are on the interactive White Board. I love to do meditation because it helps me relax. Relaxing gives me a fresh mind and guides me on my learning. I learn so much better after meditating. Thanks to Ms. Sara for supporting us all the time.
